Patron of the Foundation – Carolin Illenzeer Fund

The patron of the Carolin Illenzeer Foundation is the president of the Republic of Estonia, Alar Karis.

The head of our state says he is happy to contribute to the activities of the Carolin Illenzeer Foundation.

"The Foundation gives something valuable to the children of fallen or wounded defence personnel in their life path - knowledge and skills. Good education and skills open up new opportunities, and that's why supporting education is an excellent choice", added President Karis.

The Carolin Illenzeer Foundation wants to provide certainty and knowledge in our members of the defence forces, that if something should happen to them, there is a Foundation to help their children to acquire education in different ways. The Foundation is future-oriented and its existence gives a sense of security to all defence personnel with families who often have to fulfil their duty by risking their health and lives.

President Toomas Hendrik Ilves and President Kersti Kaljulaid have also been Patrons of the Carolin Illenzeer Foundation.
